"I'm the Avatar! You gotta deal with it!"
Like many teenage girls, Korra excels in some areas, falls short in others, is enthusiastic for some things, easily bored when her interest isn't piqued. She tries to balance her extra curricular activities with her studies, and struggles with building her identity and finding her place in the world.
She's also the bridge between with material world and the spiritual, tasked with bringing balance to the world.
First she has to find her own balance.
